Important — The candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position (in the Institute/College/University) in their undergraduate program can apply, without a XAT/CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XGMT score. Such applicants must submit a Certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their position, at the time of interview. They will, however, be required to attend the Personal Interview.
Important — XAT/CAT/NMAT/GMAT applicants: You must register for the relevant test separately and comply with the respective test authority’s notification, deadlines and requirements. Registration for the chosen test is a prerequisite for applying to MBA-BM through that test.
Important — XGMT applicants: The XGMT examination fee is INR 1,650/-. There is no separate XGMT application form. Once you select XGMT for one or more programs in the XIM University application form, you will be automatically registered for XGMT scheduled for 17 January 2027.
XGMT Test Cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi and Rourkela. Although the candidate can choose up to three cities, they must appear for the examination in the city allotted to them.

After you have successfully completed the application form and paid the application fee, you will receive an email confirming the acceptance of your online application form.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the subsequent selection process on the basis of their performance in the admission test(s) (XAT, CAT, GMAT, NMAT or XGMT). Shortlisted candidates may then be called for the following:
If these activities are conducted offline, they may be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur or Patna. Although the candidate can choose up to three cities, they must appear for the interview in the city allotted to them.
Candidates attending an interview session, in the city allocated, will have to bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The detailed modalities of the shortlisting and selection process will be communicated to candidates in due course through the University website and/or email.
Final selection will consider performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT/XGMT and the interview, along with past academic records and relevant work experiences.
Admission offers issued to selected and waitlisted candidates are purely provisional in nature.
15 December 2026 is the last date for submitting the MBA-SM application form.
