Bachelor's degree of minimum three-year duration (or equivalent) in Economics discipline, from a recognized University, with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Or Bachelor's degree of minimum three-year duration (or equivalent) in Non-Economics discipline, from a recognized University, with at least 55% marks in aggregate and in 10+2 level a minimum of 60% or equivalent marks in Mathematics.
Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2023, can also apply.

| Step 2: | Login with your XU ID/ Login ID and Password. Fill up the Personal Details, Academic Details, Professional Details, upload your photo & signature and Submit. (You may keep ready the scanned/digital images of your photo/signature in JPEG format, in advance. The dimensions of photo may be of about 200x250 pixels, and the signature may be of about 250x125 pixels, both images within 50 kb each in size). |
| Step 3: | Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs.1600/-). |
If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form.
The selection of eligible candidates will be based on performance in an entrance test OR an interview. Candidates will be tested on the basis of their knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics at a level commensurate with the UGC CBCS syllabus of B.A./B.Sc. Economics program.
The last date to fill up the application form is May 31, 2023.
